Dear customers,

As owner of Tina Fishing flies I know better then anybody else how popular the van Klinken flies really are. When our fly tying factory got more and more request for Hans van Klinken's wonderful fly patterns we decided to try to fulfill those wishes and include them in our fly selection. I also heard that there were many complains about commercial tied Klinkhåmers. Most were tied much too small or had serious floating problems because people using the wrong materials for the wing. Other people complained about Klinkhåmers tied on hooks which gab was far too small. That set me thinking and I decided to make some Klinkhåmers and Leadheads and send them to Mr. Hans van Klinken himself to ask his opinion about our way of tying them. I also asked him permission to include several of his patterns in our fly selection.

In spite that I wouldn't expect any reply at all, his feedback was very friendly and kind to us. He even explain me that the way we tied his flies wasn't correct either but Hans told us exactly what we did wrong and how we could improve his patterns and increase their effectiveness and appearance. He also told us that if we will put more effort in his thoughts behind his designs, we probably would be able to produce a very nice set of Klinkhåmers and other flies he have designed over the years. Hans confirmed me indeed that so many commercial Klinkhåmers were tied incorrectly which is not good for the success of his fly and for the fishermen that bought them. 

We took his advices very seriously and ordered the official Klinkhåmer hooks from Partridge of Reddish and starting to use the same materials as Hans use for his patterns. This resulting in the fact that we now very proudly can announce that we are the only company in the world that ties commercial Klinkhåmers and Leadheads exactly as they should be.
